Turkish Expats & Professionals in Switzerland (TEPS) is a community created by and for Turkish professionals living in Switzerland. Our mission is to strengthen solidarity, foster meaningful connections, and provide a trusted space where members can share knowledge, experiences, and support one another.

Living and working in Switzerland offers many opportunities, but it also brings challenges. Whether you are new to the country or have lived here for many years, navigating professional life, building a network, and adapting to a new culture can be complex. TEPS exists to make this journey smoother, more supportive, and more connected.

We bring together professionals, entrepreneurs, white-collar employees, and newcomers from a wide range of industries and backgrounds. Through knowledge sharing, networking, and social interaction, we strive to cultivate a strong sense of belonging and the reassurance that you are not alone.

TEPS was not founded by a corporation, a political group, or a secret organization (despite some rumours). It began with a small group of Turkish professionals who simply thought:

“There must be an easier way to survive Swiss life together.”

What started as coffee chats, WhatsApp messages, and shared questions gradually grew into a community built on the idea that moving, working, and living in Switzerland is much more enjoyable and much less confusing when you’re not doing it alone.

The founders are not paid, not sponsored, and not secretly funded by anyone (unfortunately). TEPS runs entirely on voluntary effort and good intentions. We believe in helping without expecting anything in return, sharing knowledge openly, and creating a respectful space where people can connect, learn, and even laugh a little.

TEPS is built on mutual respect, trust, and voluntary participation. We value constructive dialogue, collaboration, and supporting one another both professionally and personally. Our community is NOT a platform for politics, spam, or unmoderated advertising, but a safe and respectful environment focused on growth and connection.
